About 1000 school business managers, executive officers, and school administrators saw EdPay in action during July at the 2019 School Business Managers’ Conference at Te Papa, Wellington.
We ran a presentation of the new payroll service at a conference workshop and set up a stand for people to try a demo version of EdPay at any time over the three day event.
Our project coordinator Lucy Pickering says the demonstrations went well, with school business managers saying how much they were looking forward to saying goodbye to forms.
“We had some really useful conversations over the three days with a wide range of people who will one day be using EdPay. Forms was a big issue for many, and we’ve also collected the names of another big group of schools who are keen to get access to EdPay soon.”
We’ll also be showing off EdPay during August at three conferences organised by CES:
- South Island School Office Administrators’ Conference, Christchurch, August 1
- Administration for Schools Conference, Auckland, August 8
- Lower North Island School Office Administrator’ Conference, August 29
