Two hundred schools using new payroll service

Two hundred schools are now trialing Education Payroll’s new online service EdPay.

On 23 July the number of schools increased from 26 to 200, ensuring a good mix of school types, sizes and locations from metropolitan high schools to rural schools.

We will be collecting information from these schools about their experiences as they put the new payroll service through its paces.

EdPay replaces Novopay – a manual, labour-intensive payroll service requiring school administrators to download, fill out and email forms. EdPay is online and cross-checks information, improving accuracy.

Schools are saying it’s easier and faster to use than the current service.

Throughout the rest of 2019, EdPay will be made available to more schools. Those that are keen to take part can let their school’s dedicated payroll adviser know.
